Welcome to the Old Crooked Trail. I’m Serena — wanderer, daydreamer, and collector of tiny wonders.
I roam the woods with my husband Jerry and our doodle Sadie, following crooked paths, soft light, and the quiet kind of magic most people walk right past. Everything I create — the photos, the stories, the coloring books I’m dreaming into existence — grows from those moments when the world slows down and shows you something beautiful.
Jerry and Sadie are usually a few steps ahead of me (or a whole trail), because I’m forever stopping to kneel in the dirt, chase a flicker of light, or admire something small and extraordinary. A simple 30‑minute walk becomes a two‑hour wander, and honestly… that’s where the magic lives.
From our little crooked trail to yours — thanks for being here. Sadie says come back anytime.
Every crooked trail has a guardian… ours just happens to be a doodle name Sadie
